FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • All pricing is quoted in US Dollars (USD). Whilst we are based in Australia, the majority of our clients are based in the US.

  • Shipping is calculated and added during checkout process. Shipping prices vary depending on location. Prices advertised do not include taxes. Like shipping, duties and taxes also vary per country. Generally taxes and duties will need to be paid once the shipment has arrived in its destination country.

  • Made to order refers to the specific production processes: meaning we do not begin producing until we have received and confirmed an order. Simply speaking, we do not hold inventory of these styles.

  • Ready to wear implies the style is “ready to wear” now: meaning it has been cut, made and ready to be shipped. We generally only hold a small inventory of ready to wear styles at any given time.

  • All of our gowns are designed and made in Sydney, Australia

  • “Made to Order” gowns Require a 5-7 month production time. For orders that may require a quicker turn around, please contact us to discuss a potential rush order.

”Ready to Wear” gowns are available for immediate purchase and are ready to be shipped.

  • Via a door-to-door, International Courier service. Depending on delivery location, we recommend allowing between 2-7 days for deliveries to reach their final destination. All orders will receive a tracking link once they have been shipped and will require a signature upon delivery.

  • To determine what size gown you should order, we require bust, waist and hip measurements. Please note the following:

Bust: to be measured at the widest point of the bust. Generally speaking, at the nipple point.
Waist: to be measured at the narrowest point of the waist.
Hip: to be measured at the widest part of the butt area. This does not necessarily mean along your hip bone.

When taking measurements it is important to ensure that the tape measure runs parallel to the floor. If taking measurements yourself, we recommend doing so in front of a mirror. If you don’t feel confident doing this yourself, finding a close friend or parent to help is a good solution. If you dont feel comfortable or confident doing this yourself, we recommend consulting a trusted local tailor or seamstress and having them take measurements for you.

  • Yes, you can! Whilst you might be feeling a bit odd after taking your measurements and finding out that you don’t fit the standard sizing mould, please don’t! It is quite common for brides to order a gown that is graded to their measurements. Whilst it does incur an additional grading fee of $150USD, it does ensure a better fit and rules out any potentially dramatic alternations that otherwise may be needed to ensure a perfect fit. If your measurements correspond to different sizes and you would prefer to order a gown that is graded to your measurements, please contact us so we can assist.

  • Graded to measurements simply means that the components of your gown will be size graded to match the bust, waist and hip measurements provided by you. The additional charge covers the time it takes for us to digitally adjust the pattern pieces and relative components that are required to construct your gown.

  • No. Made to measure is a process that usually requires a more detailed combination of measurements. It is a service that we feel can not really be given over the internet as it requires a high level of attention and is better suited for face to face environments.

  • If for whatever reason you believe your measurements may have changed, please contact us so we can try to accommodate any necessary adjustments throughout the production process. Please note, additional charges may apply.

  • Like most other bridal designer, we do not accept returns on any orders that have been used, soiled, damaged or altered. We do not accept returns on orders that are “made to order” or orders that have been “graded to your measurements”. Whilst we have quality control procedures in place, we do offer to replace or repair any orders that are agreed to be faulty or defective. It is important to notify us of any faults with 48 hrs of receiving your order.

  • All veils are hand finished with 3 cotton loops, centred along the top edge of the veil when worn. Cotton loops allow more freedom when styling your veil. We recommend using french hair pins to secure the veil into place. Please contact us if you require a comb to be included with your veil order.
